Roles and Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage automated deployment pipelines ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software.
Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack for automating system configurations and managing infrastructure.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Bicep, ensuring infrastructure is version-controlled and reproducible.
Write and maintain scripts in languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Administer version control systems, primarily Git, to manage source code and collaborate with development teams.
Manage and configure cloud infrastructure on platforms like Azure, optimizing for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps to streamline development processes and improve code quality.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the security and availability of infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.

Job Requirements

6+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with IaC tools, specifically Bicep.
Advanced knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
Deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with network configuration management.
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
