Our client is a UK company based in Spain (Barcelona) and is looking for a REMOTE Full Stack Developer (PHP), initially for a 6-month contract, and with the possibility of a full-time position after that.

The selected individual would implement new features and solve issues based on customer support requests. The role also includes building and maintaining product features throughout the entire application stack and drive efforts to stabilise, upgrade, and improve the application. All this while upholding quality standards including reliability, efficiency, security, maintainability and usability by applying best practice processes, methodologies and tools.

The ideal candidate would have 3 to 6 years’ experience as a PHP Developer with an understanding of *nix systems (ubuntu/mac), experience working with MySQL / PostgreSQL, and an understanding of DRY / KISS principles.

Experience with AWS Cloud, JavaScript, React/Vue, HTML, CSS would also be required as well as experience with Docker, Zend Framework, REST, Memcached, Webservices.

The role offers an annual gross salary of between 32 to 36,000 euro, depending on experience.
