Roles & Responsibilities

• Complete manual/UI testing for new platform features and/or perform platform testing across multiple environments to ensure our software runs when infrastructure upgrades are released
• Creating, maintaining and executing test plans that test the product from end-to-end, specific focus on testing prior to releasing to production, either new features, bug fixes or changes to the platform
• Effectively collaborating with team members and Developers, to achieve the best results ( they should be comfortable asking developers clarifying questions around requirements or functionality)
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance
• Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases for new and existing products and features
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure that testing covers all necessary scenarios
• Maintain and execute regression test suites to ensure the stability of existing products
• Utilize SQL to perform data validation, queries and verification
• Document test results and collaborate with development teams to resolve identified iss

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing, including experience with mobile, and desktop, and cloud applications
• Experience working with Postgress and other databases. Strong SQL Query writing skills
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in a Scrum environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - the ability to articulate sophisticated topics, issues and resolutions both orally and in writing, written observations should be able to stand on their own/minimal clarification on observations should be needed
• Experience with Jira (both administering tickets and comfortable with work flow in general), Git Hub (approving and merging PR’s), API calls via postman, formulate SQL queries (Nice to Have),reviewing logs
• Understanding of web services, including transport (primarily HTTP), standard data formats (JSON and XML), and common API patterns (e.g. REST)
• Experience with asynchronous request/response
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - the ability to articulate sophisticated topics, issues and resolutions both orally and in writing, written observations should be able to stand on their own/minimal clarification on observations should be needed
• Experience with Jira (both administering tickets and comfortable with work flow in general), Git Hub (approving and merging PR’s), API calls via postman, formulate SQL queries (Nice to Have),reviewing logs
